Happy Friday! In Hawaii, we call it Pau Hana Friday, meaning “the week is ovah!”
It is challenging to find a family-friendly movie to enjoy with your kids, eat popcorn, and snuggle up together on the couch. June & Kopi is a good one. Available on Netflix, and released this year from Indonesia, there are subtitles. But the delightful storyline, two CUTE dogs – one is a pittie – and a couple learning to hope again are so compelling, you will quickly forget you are reading dialogue. (Watching Great foreign films is an excellent way to learn about other cultures and increase reading speed.)
