Lined paper and a #2 Ticonderoga pencil, sometimes a ballpoint pen, are all I need to get my story moving or a post about parenting mighty girls started. Today’s ancient college lined paper (ten years old?!) calls for a pen, despite introducing three different pencils. You are witness to my pencils’ rebellion, or, the right tool finally applied.
Skating across the page with gel pen ink (the closest grabby victim on my full desk). Slow down. You’re too fast! Ideas should mature deliberately, patiently.
Stop pushing! There’s enough paper, ink, well…maybe not enough time.
Chauffeuring duty calls.
Take your turn, take a breath. What are you about now?
Teen announcing and counting down our departure time from the next room.
Now, don’t be shy.
I was only enthusing about the simple tools to create, share, reflect, and communicate.
