The news likes to talk about children in cages, racism, injustice towards immigrants, and evil border patrol agents. Yet, the people who do this underappreciated and misunderstood job have a different reason and purpose. So what’s the truth? If you cannot go to the border and see for yourself, talk to or listen to one of these important, compassionate individuals.

Notice how completely calm, reasonable, respectful, and humble Jason Owens is. He talks about Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue teams providing life-saving aid to migrants when they are in need, where they are not supposed to be. This is the kind of man I want protecting our borders and rendering aid to real asylum seekers–experienced, level-headed, caring.

You can’t take one opinion or one person’s perspective at face value. You need to research it for yourself; you need to see it for yourself…talk to the people who deal with it day in and day out…if you’re on either extreme, you’re probably wrong…
