Aloha! 2019 is flying by, even my kids noticed. I have been chauffeuring them, wrestling with the internet, researching stories to present from a parent’s perspective, and writing, writing, and rewriting.
I am inspired by my current read Writing True: The Art and Craft of Creative Nonfiction by Sondra Perl and Mimi Schwartz to ask:
How can I build a better blog post that empowers, motivates, and hugs you?
Are topics relevant and convincing?
Did you take action?
Your feedback about my writing style will help me improve.
I will continue using a parent voice to discuss how issues affect our kids and us as parents.
My biggest challenges are to edit quickly and wrangle my internet to cooperate when I’m ready to publish (usually after 10:30pm, when I’m tired and just want the darn thing to work).
