My programmer daughter did not think she needed a business card because her information was on LinkedIn and GitHub. I convinced her to make one anyway to make it easier for people to see her abilities, contact her later, and remember her, just like Get-It-Done Guy says. She enjoyed the process and is motivated to make more connections so she can give them out. They came in handy at two recent job fairs.
